Gas prices to high

We complain that gas prices are to high, but what are we willing to do to change this? We talk of opening up off shore drilling, oil shell, etc. (all of which are viable options). But there are other options. CNG (compressed natural gas) or electric vehicles are beginning to rise to the top of the viable option list. In the eastern states, CNG is still at a higher price than in the west, but is still less expensive than gasoline. Conversions can be done to a vehicle but are very expensive but can be eligible to receive a state tax refund (depending upon your state). Electric, in my option, is the best way to go for the standard commuter. These kits cost about 3000.00 for a small vehicle conversion and can go about 60 miles at 55 mph before a recharge is needed. It is time to look at all the options out there to get our oil dependency thirst under control.
